For the past 14 years, Cissy has been far more than a dog sitter — she has been a lifeline, a constant, and a beloved member of our extended family. She has cared for six of our dogs over the years, each with their own quirks, personalities, and medical needs, and she has handled every one of them with a level of devotion that is honestly hard to put into words. One of our dogs even had a violent seizure while on her watch and she stayed calm and comforted her until she got through it.
One of our dogs required 15 different medications a day just to keep him going, and Cissy managed his care with precision, patience, and love. Today, one of our current dogs needs anti‑seizure medication twice a day, and we never have to worry for a single second when she’s here. Her reliability is unmatched — when Cissy is in charge, everything is done right.
Our dogs adore her so much it’s almost comical. They hate to see us leave… but the moment Cissy walks through the door with her luggage, they absolutely lose their minds with excitement. At this point, we’re pretty sure they like her more than they like us — and honestly, we can’t blame them.
Cissy has been with us through puppies, seniors, medical challenges, heartbreaks, and joy. She has shown up for our family every single time. Trusting someone with your animals is one of the most vulnerable things you can do, and she has earned that trust a thousand times over.
We couldn’t imagine our lives — or our dogs’ lives — without her.
